OUR COLLABORATION WITH THE GOETHE INSTITUTE

01

Tatyana Murzina and Yulia Korteleva, students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, successfully mastered the theoretical foundations of German language early teaching. The study of foreign language teaching methods was held on-line and within the framework of the program “German Language Early Learning”. This program involves the training of future teachers of the German language, who will work with children aged 3 to 8 years. According to Tatyana Balabanova, senior lecturer of the department of theoretical and applied linguistics, training began in the fall of 2018 in accordance with the cooperation agreement between our university and the Goethe Institute in Minsk. The training ended with three-day seminars and master classes, which were conducted by specialists in early education at the Goethe Institute. There, in the classroom, our students continued to master the current method of “Deutsch mit Hans Hase” (“German with Bunny Hans”), developed specifically for pre-schoolers, taking into account their age characteristics and needs. The next stage of the program “Early Learning German Language” will be the practical application of acquired knowledge in pre-school education institutions.
