On February 27 the Second International Scientific and Practical Webinar “Traditions and Innovations in the Training of a Primary School Teacher” was held at Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University. The webinar was organized by teachers and staff of the Department of Primary Education and Linguistic Didactics, as well as the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Primary Education of the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky. At the opening of the webinar, Viktor Starostenko, Vice-Rector for Research Work, drew attention to the fact that the quality of education is largely determined by the skill level of the teaching staff, therefore the problem of improving the quality of teacher training is the core.
In response, A. Khodyrev, Vice-Rector for Research of Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky, noted that the close, long-term cooperation of our universities is of great importance for the development of scientific research and for improving the quality of teacher training. The webinar program reflects the most significant results of scientific research and methodological work of scientists of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov and YSPU named after K. D. Ushinsky.
