As part of the “Erasmus+” program, on June 3, a researcher at the Department of Foreign Languages, Doctor-Germanist Jan Čapek (Czech Republic) visited our university. He met with Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law Dmitry Rogovtsov, Head of the Department of International Relations Sergey Machekin, and he also visited the Department of Political Science and Sociology and Centre for German Language and Culture.
During the working meetings, the prospects for cooperation under the Erasmus+ program were discussed. Thanks to this program for 2017–2019 9 students of our university studied at the University of Pardubice and 5 teachers lectured in the Czech Republic. At the Centre for German Language and Culture, Jan Čapek, together with the head of the centre, Natalia Protasova, and the students of the faculty of foreign languages, discussed opportunities for further cooperation. Students were offered trips to summer German courses in the city of Pardubice. Jan Čapek and Marina Chmarova, Associate Professor of the Department of Literature and Intercultural Communication, also discussed the conditions under which it will be possible to teach the Czech language at the Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University.
