Egor Maleiko, a student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, took the 1st place in the Russian regional (with international participation) Olympiad in Information Technologies. The Olympiad was held in 2 stages at Tula State University named after L. N. Tolstoy.
The first stage involved 54 people. 14 people made it to the second round. The final took place in on-line format. Each of the participants demonstrated their presence through a webcam. Unauthorized people were forbidden to be present in the frame. The participants were given 2 hours. By the way, Yegor became the only participant in the final who lives in another country.
