From March 11 to March 22, 2021, students of the Center for Chinese Language and Culture and its head L. G. Zaitseva took part in the «Chinese Bridge» project. This is the first project of this kind that was proposed by our partner, Tianjin Foreign Studies University, with the support of the Center for Language Communication and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of China.
This project consists of several parts: online training, broadcasting the experience of folk traditions and customs, independent homework.
For the project participants online lectures were given: «Economic Environment of «One Belt and One Road « initiative; «The Diplomatic Environment of One Belt and One Road Initiative», China’s COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Complex classes were organized in the same way:
«Chinese Characters and Calligraphy» (the basics of Confucian etiquette, the history of the origin of Chinese characters, their recognition; calligraphy with a hard pen and calligraphy with a soft pen, the formation of the ability to write blessing characters and couplets of the spring festival);
«Beijing Opera. Make-up and Costumes» (history of development and types of costumes of Beijing Opera; the art of makeup of Beijing Opera: «Amplua Dan» (female character) and «Amplua Sheng» (male character); the process of makeup and preparation of costumes before the performance of Beijing Opera), a master class on Tai Chi and other physical exercises as a daily wellness practice for the Chinese people.
