A festive concert, organized by the Department of Music and Aesthetic Education, took place within the walls of the university on May 16. It was held as part of the events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation.
The concert included several sections — these are Belarusian folk songs, as well as songs of Belarusian composers, academic vocals presented by the ensemble “Harmony”, as well as a section reflecting the work of teachers with students and undergraduates from the People's Republic of China. Alenkova Yulia Vasilievna, head of the Department of Music and Aesthetic Education, noted: “At the first concert, which took place in March, students from China showed the repertoire that they had mastered in their homeland. At this concert were presented those that were learned during their studies at Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University. This is important as we plan to accept even more Chinese students in the future.”
The concert became a part of the preparations for the 110th anniversary of the university.
