Students of the specialty “Journalism (printed media)” D. Scherbo and N. Glushakova, under the guidance of a trainee teacher R. V. Deryuzhin, at the invitation of the Klimovsky District Executive Committee, took part in the International Festival of Children’s Creativity “Golden Bee”, held from June 1 to 4 in the district center. For one day, June 2, representatives of the university became bloggers, covering festive events on their own social networks, primarily on Instagram, as well as on the TikTok platform.
Dance rehearsals, competitive auditions of vocalists, craftsmen and their products, themed playgrounds, sights of the district center and, of course, the grand opening with fireworks — all this, judging by the number of views and likes, was to the liking of Internet users following the festival.
Participation in the event allowed students to consolidate their knowledge in such academic disciplines as “Fundamentals of Photojournalism” and “Fundamentals of Creative Mastery”, get acquainted with such a promising area as blogging, study the specifics of the work of a journalist on business trips, as well as enjoy the creativity of the younger generation and see the work on its development.
