On September, 28 the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus hosted a solemn reception for representatives of the Chinese diaspora, educational and business circles in Belarus on the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China and the Zhongqiu Lunar Festival in 2025. More than 200 representatives of the Chinese diaspora in Belarus, including employees of Chinese institutions, Chinese language teachers and students gathered together to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the National Day of the People's Republic of China and the Zhongqiu Festival. Confucius Institute of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University was represented by the director of the Institute from the Chinese side, Wang Xiaomei.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China, Zhang Wenchuan, addressed the participants of the events with festive congratulations and wishes. He highly appreciated the fruitful results of Chinese diplomacy, explained the deep significance of the events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people in the war of resistance against the Japanese invaders and the world anti-fascist war, positively assessed the progress in Chinese-Belarusian cooperation and called for the further development of friendly relations between China and Belarus. In his speech Zhang Wenchuan also highly appreciated the active role of the Confucius Institutes of Belarus in the development of cooperation between China and Belarus in strengthening friendship between nations.
