From October 1 to 3, 2025 the 3 rd Youth Forum of the CIS and EAEU took place in Minsk.
Students, who study at the 3rd course of the historical-philological faculty, specializing in “Philological education (Russian language and literature),” studying within the International Cooperation Agreement with Chirchik State University (Uzbekistan), actively participated in the forum’s activities.
The solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Minsk Hero City Obelisk and a visit to the “National museum of the history of the Great Patriotic War” at the beginning of the forum underlined the enduring importance of ever-lasting value of the Great Patriotic War and established the historical, cultural and ideological foundation, uniting people of the Commonwealth countries.
The forum featured four interactive platforms:
— At the National Library students took part in a panel discussion on “Digital content: youth in the field of information”;
— At the Science and Technology park of BNTU “Polytechnic” they engaged in a dialogue on the development uniting scientific and educational space;
— At the National children’s technopark, they discussed the theme “Ideas uniting youth across the CIS and EAEU”;
— At the High Tech Park they learned to formulate and present business ideas and discussed issues related to the development of innovative youth entrepreneurship.
The new knowledge and intellectual stimulus gained in an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual respect at the forum will contribute both to the formation and deepening of professional competencies of future teachers of the Russian language and literature and to the development and strengthening of friendly ties among the youth of CIS countries.
