The monograph sets out the author’s approaches and analysis of modern Belarusian institutions that form the conditions for the behavior of participants in the Belarusian labor market. It suggests the characteristics of Belarusian labor sphere functioning through job search mechanisms and the distribution of employment channels, the analysis of low-paid employment, the formation of the institute of reserved wages and social risks. Estimations of the effective use of working time in the Belarusian economy are given.
For the first time, modern trajectories of the behavior of workers and employers in the conditions of the Belarusian economy have been identified by identifying the specifics of concluding fixed-term labor contracts and their impact on the innovative activity of organizations in Belarus. The role of the institution of an effective contract in Belarus and the relevance of intra-company mobility of workers are substantiated. The results of monitoring employee satisfaction with work are presented and the reasons for precarious employment in the national economy of Belarus are determined.
