Students of the Faculty of Economics and Law (Victoria Davtyan, Diana Sadovnikova) and a graduate of the specialty “Jurisprudence” Margarita Goldenkova from October 13 to 18 visited law schools at some of the best universities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria: Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic), Kamensky University (Bratislava, Slovakia), University of Vienna and Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (Vienna, Austria). In addition, university representatives visited human rights research centers, actively participated in round tables, held meetings with student organizations, and shared experiences.
The meetings with representatives of the Student Support Center, Student Unions, Academic and Student Senates were especially significant for students. We emphasize that our students are volunteers of the Regional Legal Aid Center. An important aspect was their participation in discussing the development of the activities of legal clinics (“Street law”).
