Students and teachers of the University took part in a virtual educational visit to Barcelona (Spain) on September 22 and 23. In particular, students of the faculties of Foreign Languages, Economics and Law, as well as Sergey Machekin, head of the Department of International Relations, Elena Zhestkova, head of the Department of Economics and Management, Marina Zablotskaya, deputy dean for research work of the faculty of Foreign Languages made an online trip to the capital of Catalonia.
The virtual educational visit was held within the framework of the international technical assistance project “From University to the Labor Market in the 21st Century: a Step towards Learning in Real Production Conditions”, member of which is the Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University. The experience of European Union universities in creating and operating so-called “career centers” that deal with the implementation of industrial practices and employment of students on the basis of partner organizations was studied. In addition, examples of successful cooperation between universities and businesses were presented. During the discussion of the presented experience, students and teachers worked out further ways to implement the project to improve the organization of industrial practice.
