A new group of foreign citizens — students of the training courses “Russian as a Foreign Language”, has started training sessions.
The organizer is the department for the implementation of pre-university education and vocational guidance programs of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining. Citizens of Cameroon, Senegal, Guinea, the Republic of Congo and China are studying in the group, which will soon be replenished with new students.
The process of training foreign citizens in recent years has been continuous. Quite recently, there was a “graduation” in the group that completed their studies in August, while three students will continue their studies at our university — in the magistracy, as well as in the Faculties of Economics and Law and Physical Education. Three more groups of students, who started their studies in the spring semester, continue their work. In total, 46 foreign citizens are currently studying in four groups.
The main content of the educational program “Russian as a foreign language” is the intensive study of the Russian language, therefore, throughout the academic year, students are engaged not only in studies, but also participate in various activities. Already become traditional “Winter” and “Summer” schools of the Russian language, which combine language practice and familiarization with the history and culture of Mogilev and Belarus.
