On January 16, the representatives of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University — First Vice-Rector Lavrinovich D. S., Head of the International Relation Department Machekin S. N., Deputy Director of Continuing Education and Retraining College Zaitseva L. G. took part in the opening ceremony of the Chinese Bridge project “Unification of China and the West: Journey to Tianjin and Gu”. This project is organized by Tianjin University and is aimed at a closer acquaintance of students studying at partner universities and studying Chinese with the history, culture, traditions of the PRC and improving their level of Chinese language proficiency. We have been given the opportunity to participate in it for the second year in a row.
Welcoming the organizers and participants of the project, Dmitry Sergeevich Lavrinovich noted that Belarus and China have been consistently and confidently developing cooperation for 30 years. In a short period of time by historical standards, the countries have gone from bilateral cooperation to trusting all-round strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation. Dmitry Sergeevich also noted the special importance of interregional relations at the level of regions, cities, universities, as they are a new point of growth in relations between Belarus and China.
The participation of representatives of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University in the project became possible thanks to the cooperation agreement. This year, 8 students of the Center for Chinese Language and Culture and university students are participating in the project. From February 16 to 23, they will be able to take part in language courses and learn about the peculiarities of learning Chinese. In addition, the project participants are invited to a tour of Tianjin University, a historical and cultural tour of Tianjin, where they can get acquainted with Chinese architecture, as well as elements of European style in the architecture of the city. All classes are held online. At the same time, project participants have the opportunity to view all training sessions in the recording at any free time, regardless of the schedule.
