Our University Expands Cooperation with Chinese Educational Institutions

A videoconference on cooperation in the field of education between the Mogilev region and Henan province was held at the Center for Chinese Language and Culture on March 29. During the discussion, the parties got acquainted with the leading educational institutions of the regions and agreed to continue the development of cooperation in the field of education.

Holding this seminar is another step, a modest contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Belarus. Our university is carrying out systematic work to develop cooperation with the People's Republic of China. At present, the Center for Chinese Language and Culture operates on our base, the main task of which is to develop interest in the study of the language, history and culture of China not only among students and teachers, but also in the eastern region of the Republic of Belarus as a whole. This conference will be the initial stage of cooperation between educational institutions of the Mogilev region and the province of Henan.

From the side of the People's Republic of China, the conference was attended by the External Relations Office of the Henan Provincial People's Government, the Department of Education of the Henan Provincial People's Government, Zhengzhou Pedagogical Institute, Luoyang Pedagogical Institute, Zhengzhou No. 54 Middle School, Neihuang County Second Higher Secondary School. From the Belarusian side there were the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in China, Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University, Social and Humanitarian College of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University, the State Educational Institution “Gymnasium of Mstislavl”.
