The First Alumni of the Confucius Institute of Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University

On June 24, 2025, the first graduation of students from the Confucius Institute of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University took place in the university's conference hall. The ceremony was attended by Dmitry Lavrinovich, First Vice-Rector of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University , Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor; Zhanna Barsukova, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor; representatives of educational institutions; and parents of students.

Addressing the audience, L. G. Zaitseva, Director of the Confucius Institute on the Belarusian side, noted that “with this event, we are not only summarizing the results of the first academic semester in the history of the Confucius Institute at our university, but also opening a new chapter in the development of cultural cooperation between the Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University and Heihe University (China), and between Belarus and China.”

During the ceremony, 12 of the best students of the Institute were awarded certificates and valuable gifts for their achievements in learning Chinese in the 2024/2025 academic year. Diplomas and valuable gifts were presented to the students who won and took part in the III Open Creative Competition among students “Journey to the Celestial Empire” in the categories of “Drawing”, “Collage”, and “Calligraphy”.

At the end of the ceremony, D. S. Lavrinovich presented the graduates of the Institute with state-issued documents of education.
