The publication presents materials for students’ preparation for lectures and seminars, as well as for their self-study on the course “History of Russian Literature and Literary Criticism: the second half of the XIX century (1850–60-ies)” in accordance with the thematic classroom plan created on the basis of the standard curriculum for higher education institutions specializing in 1-02 03 02 “Russian Language and Literature” on the discipline “History of Russian Literature and Literary Criticism” (registration No.TD-A.1 30 / type.).
