The monograph represents the study of some major features of the individual style of V. Korotkevich: original compatibility of traditional and non-traditional figurative and depictive means is used, linguocultural highlighting of architectonic composition of his works is suggested, specific features of dialogical speech of the characters in the prosaic language are characterized, stylistic functions of words and expressions under trans semantization are pointed out. Linguocultural, structural and stylistic as well as functional and communicative features of the components of V. Karatkevich’s idiostyle are displayed for the first time.
The monograph is intended for students, undergraduates, graduates of philological specialties, teachers of the Belarusian language and literature, all those interested in the study of V. Karatkevich’s works.
