The publication is developed in accordance with the requirements of the state educational standard and the curriculum of the discipline “Local Studies and Ethnology of Belarus”. It is addressed to first-year full-time students of the Faculty of History and Philology and is designed to facilitate the assimilation of educational material in lectures, in the process of independent work and preparation for the exam. It gives abstracts of lecture notes to the section Ethnology of Belarus, control questions and basic literature on each topic. The workbook contains methodical instructions and recommendations, theoretical material is revealed and the required terminology is given, thus leaving a spare place for summarizing and reflection of own thoughts of students, for performance of educational tasks.
