This publication is issued as part of the lexicographic project “Dictionary of Mogilev-Smolensk borderline dialects”, which contains the vocabulary and phraseology of the Mogilev-Smolensk border region, collected by teachers of the Russian Language Department and students of the Philological Faculty of Mogilev State University from the 1980s of the XX century to the present. The second edition of the dictionary includes 1832 entries for the letters В–Ж.
The dictionary is intended for scholars, dialectologists, university teachers and students, undergraduates, graduate students, language teachers, as well as a wide range of readers who are interested in the colloquial speech of Mogilev-Smolensk borderline inhabitants.
