The publication presents various types of children games (didactic, mobile, game learning situations, plot-role, theatrical, etc.). The purpose (tasks), content, guidelines for their organization and conduct with preschool children are presented in detail. The proposed teaching materials were developed on the basis of the research conducted by leading teachers and young scientists of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Childhood, Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University, as well as on the basis of the advanced pedagogical experience in the field of preschool children game activities. The publication was developed to provide such courses, as “Preschool Pedagogy”, “Psychological and Pedagogical Foundations of Game Activities”, as well as “Preschool Education” (for advance and retraining course students). It aims to develop professional competencies among preschool teachers, based on personality-oriented and subject-activity approaches to organizing various types of games.
