Marina Zablotskaya, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages, from May 20 to 24 took part in the events of the 4th International Week of Academic Mobility of Teachers and Staff, which were held at the University of Valladolid. This year, the oldest university in Spain hosted more than 50 guests from 40 universities in Europe, Africa and South America.
During numerous meetings with representatives of the university administration, the department for internationalization, representatives of various schools and faculties of the university, the possibilities of expanding the boundaries of academic mobility were discussed, which, by the way, was considered the main key to the internationalization of the higher education system and integration into the international scientific and educational space. In addition, there was a presentation of the University of Valladolid and partner universities, issues of further development of inter-university cooperation in the field of academic mobility for students, as well as the possibility of participation of faculty members in the projects of the ERASMUS + KA107 program.
Summing up, the participants of the International Week noted that all the events not only provided new experience and knowledge, but also contributed to the establishment of valuable contacts. No less useful was the cultural program. The organizers of the International Week prepared excursions around the city of the kings of Valladolid and the historic part of Segovia with visiting fascinating places: the Christopher Columbus Museum, the church of San Pablo, the Valladolid Cathedral, the Church of Santa Maria la Antigua and the Royal Palace of Pimentel, Campo Grande Park, the medieval castle of Alcazar, the summer residence of La Granja, the Segovia Cathedral and many other impressive sights of beauty and grandeur.
We also note that for several years MSKU has been a partner of the Spanish University in the implementation of the project of the international academic mobility ERASMUS + KA107. Thanks to the project, several students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Economics and Law have already been trained at the university.
