On August 24–26, 2022 a delegation from Chirchik State Pedagogical University (Uzbekistan) visited Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University. The members of the delegation got acquainted with the university and discussed the possibilities of further cooperation in the educational and scientific fields. This year, as part of a joint educational program, 42 students from Uzbekistan will be trained in the specialties “Primary Education” and “The Russian Language and Literature”. In the reading room of the university library, an organizational meeting was held with students who arrived to study. Later, they were given a tour of the university’s hall of fame.
The purpose of the joint educational program is cooperation between our universities. Students study according to the “3 + 1” program, three years they study in Uzbekistan, one year in Belarus. Upon graduation, they receive two diplomas: a diploma from Chirchik State Pedagogical University and a diploma from Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University.
“We plan to organize seminars, conferences in the field of science and education. This will be a great opportunity to exchange the experiences of the two nations — Belarusian and Uzbek. We are grateful to Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University for giving us the opportunity to speak at the international level,” — comments the head of the international relations department of Chirchik State Pedagogical University.
Within the framework of the joint educational program, short-term projects involving the participation of Belarusian students were also discussed. The prospects for expanding the list of specialties have been identified, which can also be trained as part of the implementation of joint educational programs in the framework of cooperation between the Chirchik State Pedagogical University and Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University.
